Getting Started

Let’s get started. First you will need to create your Ascentii RoleFit Survey™ account, it takes less than 5 minutes and you can do that by clicking HERE.

Once you have created your account simply follow the next steps outlined below:

1. In your Control Panel, click on “Generate New Assessment Link”:

2. Review the Job Families and Jobs drop-down menus, select the job that best describes the job for which you are hiring by clicking on “Click to View this Profile”, review the job outline, and copy and paste that job outline into your job posting.

3. Click on the Send button to have the assessment link for the job you want to assess applicants for and the link will be emailed to the email address you used to create your account.

NOTE: If the assessment link does not arrive in your email Inbox within a few minutes, be sure to check your Bulk eMail folder, eMail filter settings and ISP settings. We have no control over how your computer is set up; for a trouble-shooting guide click HERE;

4. Copy and Paste the assessment link into your job posting

5. Post your job on an electronic job board and wait for applications to come in.

6. When the date and time of the job posting expires, log into the system, use the filters at the top of the screen to sort by Job and RoleFit Index (RFI) score and review the screened and rank-ordered results of all applicants for that job. Only choose those with the highest scores (typically those that have scored ≤ 7 out of 10; the higher the better) and those are your top applicants.

7. Now search for the resumes of only the top applicants to check for relevant education, work experience, etc. and start the telephone screening or interview process – it’s that simple.
